Welcome to Water for Life, One Country, One Family!

Welcome and thank you in advance for your help. This blog has been set up to allow you to contribute and follow the progress of our mission to help Katrina's victims. This site is where you can follow our progress in attaining the possible.

Your contribution will go 100% to the purchase and transportation of life sustaining water to the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

The plan as it stands now: We have two tractor trailers each with the capacity of hauling 22 to 26 pallets of shrinkwrapped, palletized water.

To put that in perspective, each truck will deliver 113,568 bottles of water!

We want to be rolling within the next 24 to 36 hours.

We have two trucks as of this moment to carry the water plus one extra that we are makinkg available to the Salvation Army to deliver 20,000 hot meals.

We are specifically asking for donations of money to facilitate the purchase of palletized, shrinkwrapped water. This is at the request of the folks on the recieving end so that they can better manage and distribute the product upon arrival. We are working very closely with Zephyrhills Water Co. to supply us the product at or near cost in the proper format. Go Zephyrhills!

  • Hi Sean, I think what you are doing is wonderful. Do you think on your next trip you can possibly take supplies for all the displaced & injured animals? I'm sure you would receive many generous donations to assist the non-human victims of Katrina. Keep up the good work! D.L.
